Driver/Warehouse Operative for our Basingstoke branch.

We are looking for a new delivery driver/warehouse operative to join the team at our Baisingstoke branch!

We take great pride in our exceptional product knowledge and customer service that is offered by staff, ensuring that customers at all our twelve branches get what they order, and any advice they may need!

About the job:

PLEASE NOTE no previous van driving experience is needed however it is preferable.

Delivering:

You will be driving a Ford Transit long-wheelbase van carrying orders to local customers in and around the Baisingstoke area. On occasion, we may ask that you travel further but this will change based on the needs and staffing of the business.

Warehouse:

• Stock – You will be responsible for receiving, checking in, and putting away the stock for the branch.
• Picking Orders – Responsible for picking and packing stock for orders.
• Organisation – Responsible for organising the stock in the warehouse and making sure that the workplace stays tidy.
• Communication – Responsible for communicating any problems if/when they arise.

We will provide the vehicle with all insurance and maintenance for the successful candidate.

About you:

Candidates must have a valid UK driving license and have been driving for at least 2 years.

As a Delivery Driver we will expect:

• You are to deliver on both residential and commercial properties.
• Be customer focused, well presented and polite, and friendly to our clients.
• To have no driving license penalty points.
• Must be physically able due to the nature of the job.
• You to work in a detail-oriented manner.
